Artist Mike Ballard has been given free rein to transform an entire gallery into one giant installation - because the space is to be demolished for Crossrail.

Every surface of the Arts Gallery in Davies Street, Mayfair, has been covered with images, including of ancient Egyptian rulers, comic book superheroes and prehistoric cave art. The floors, walls and ceiling merge into one work.

Reno teen accused in 271 graffiti vandalism incidents

A 17-year-old Reno juvenile has been arrested by Reno police on felony graffiti charges after he allegedly admitted to carrying out 271 graffiti vandalism incidents throughout the city, police said Thursday.

Police detectives say the suspect was also arrested in August after witnesses identified him as the individual responsible for graffiti vandalism under the bridge at Booth Street and Idlewild Drive for which he is currently on probation, police said.

Yesterday, subway graffiti artist Poster Boy pleaded guilty to two counts of criminal mischief and got handed a sentence of 210 hours of community service -- a punishment that seems a little extreme.

The graffiti artist known as Revok was charged today after he was arrested last month at a show of his work in Mid-City.

Graffiti gang caused £270,000 damage

GRAFFITI vandals from Feltham, Kingston and Twickenham who caused an estimated £270,000 worth of damage to trains have been jailed for a total of six years.

The gang of six men admitted daubing their 'tags' on more than 125 trains and tube carriages over a two-year period from February 2006 to November 2007.

They would mainly go out at night, breaking into train depots across west London and further afield, but as their crimes went unpunished ...
