Five 'tagging crew' members arrested

CHICO — Police announced the arrest Friday of "tagging crew" members responsible for ongoing graffiti damage at schools and several other locations in Chico.

Among five juveniles taken into custody, one has three prior arrests and is allegedly responsible for hundreds of dollars in graffiti damage. A second youth is reportedly responsible for damage in the thousands of dollars.

A 14-year-old boy arrested May 14 is allegedly responsible for felony level vandalism discovered last week behind 650 Mangrove Ave.
